1. What are your hours of operation?

Court is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

2. How can I make a payment?

You can pay by cash, money order, credit card or cashier’s check in person, mail a money order or cashier’s check made payable to Hardeeville Municipal Court. Please write the ticket number on the bottom right corner or you can pay online. Credit card payments online or in person will have a convenience fee of $1.00 plus 1.7% of the fine. No personal or company checks are accepted. Payments over the phone are not accepted. Payments after 4:30 p.m. are strongly not recommended.  

3. How many days do I have to make my payment?

Payments are due before or on your court date. If the offense does not require a mandatory court appearance, 15 days from the date of court payment must be submitted.

4. How can I request a continuance?

Continuance requests must be submitted in writing; it can be mailed, faxed or emailed to court@cityofhardeeville.com before or on your court date. Continuance requests are not acceptable over the phone.

5. How can I request a Jury Trial?

A Jury Trial request must be received before your court date in writing via email, fax or mail. You may appear in person and fill out the jury trial request form or request it on the date of trial. You will be notified by mail of the next jury roster meeting and/or selection.
