Welcome to the Offices of the Municipal Court

The Municipal Court has grown along with the City of Hardeeville. It uses the most up-to-date technology available and is a part of the South Carolina Court Administration's CMS System. Judge Nancy Gutierrez ensures that a judge is available to Hardeeville citizens seven days a week to set bond, issue warrants, and provide any other judicial services when required. The Clerks of Court are available to answer any questions or concerns and to take payments with excellent customer service.

Hardeeville Municipal Court's Mission

Is to treat all citizens equally, impartially and fairly in accordance to South Carolina Code of Laws, the administrative authority given by South Carolina Court Administration and the City of Hardeeville. It is to also be efficient and to continue enhancing its operational performances.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Hardeeville Municipal Court is a branch from South Carolina Court Administration and it serves as the judicial system for the City of Hardeeville. This court handles traffic and criminal misdemeanor violations as well as City ordinances.

Spanish Language Court

In an effort to address the needs of our Hispanic population, a special Court is held on the fourth Thursday of each month by Judge Nancy Gutierrez and a certified interpreter to make sure that all citizens with the Spanish speaking language receive a fair trial as well as bond hearings.
