Finance Staff

John Boyle joined the City of Hardeeville in 2019. Prior to joining the City, he served as the Finance Director for special purpose local governments throughout the Southeast. Early in his career Mr. Boyle worked for the State of North Carolina in a variety of roles.

Amy Chester has worked for the City of Hardeeville since August 2017.  In her role as Senior Accountant, she is responsible for the day-to-day accounting for the City as well as biweekly payroll processing and month end close.  Amy also plays an integral role in preparing the City’s annual budget and annual audit.

Cynthia Oliver has worked for the City over nine years.  In her role as the Senior Revenue Collection Specialist, she is responsible for management of Business Licensing, Local Accommodations and Local Hospitality tax collections.  She is a graduate of Clayton College & State University with a major in Accounting, and a graduate of Ogeechee Technical College.  She has her Master Business Licensing Accreditation (MBL) from the Municipal Association of S.C. (MASC). She currently serves on the MASC BLOA board.

Jordan Mason started with the City of Hardeeville in 2023. She has been in the field of finance since 2019. She is originally from Florida and previously worked in finance for the State of Florida. In her role as the Accounts Payable Clerk with The City of Hardeeville, Jordan is responsible for ensuring invoices for City utilities, employee benefits, and contractors are paid promptly. As well as assisting with payroll.
